Important information for medical treatments in the practice
Appointments
For visiting our practice, you need an appointment. Appointments can be made by phone, email, online via our website or personally at the counter during our opening times. Provided that we have free time capacity, we also offer emergency consultations in the event of acute illnesses. Should you not be able to keep your appointment, please make a cancellation in good time.
Refferal
Per quarter one general practitioner, one dentist and up to three specialists from different disciplines may be consulted without referral. If in the same quarter a second specialist opinion is required (such as a second orthopedist), a branch of the health insurance company must be visited first, so that your e-card may be activated again.
Infusions
The intravenous pain therapy first requires a medical examination. The first appointment is directly made at the counter. The follow-up appointments then will be communicated in the infusion room. The intravenous pain therapy is carried out in room 7 (apartment in the opposite staircase).
Physical Therapy
Our medical practice offers services for physical medicine. As a contractual partner of health insurance companies (BVA, KFA, SVS; not ÖGK) the provided medical services can be billed directly to your health insurance company. Physical therapy requires a medical examination in advance. If you wish to have the therapy carried out at another institute for physical medicine, we will issue you a prescription. The prescription will remain valid for a period of four weeks from the date of issue.
Transfer to radiography
For example: radiography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance tomography (MRT), computer tomography (CT), bone density measurement (osteodensitometry). The addresses of the Diagnostic Centers can be found on the back of your referral. The referral will remain valid for a period of four weeks from the date of issue. For specific examinations including sonography, magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) and computer tomography (CT) an appointment is required in advance.

The plaster cast will be taken in room 7 (apartment in the opposite staircase), appointments are not required. During the opening times of our orthopedic workshop you may introduce yourself with the medical prescription in room 7. This is the same room where the plaster cast will be taken. The model insoles will be ready after a few days. You may pick them up during the opening times of the orthopedic specialist workshop.
